Palo Santo Smudging 
 
The perfect way to close of any smudging session....
 
Palo Santo is otherwise known as the 'Holy Wood' and is a mystical tree that grows in Central and South America and is related to Frankincense, Myrrh and Copal. 
The wood can only be collected from trees that have fallen naturally. 
 
Palo Santo is part of the citrus family and has sweet notes of pine, mint and lemon. It has been used for centuries by the local people to energetically cleanse away negative energies and has similar healing properties as Sage. 
 
Palo Santo has become popular for its sacred presence in keeping energies clear and grounded; providing clearing, protection, longevity & wisdom. It is also useful as an insect repellant, keeping mosquitos and other flying insects at bay.
 
I personally use Palo Santo after Smudging with Sage to invite calm and peace into my space.
